USAO's first blood drive of the year is Thursday, Sept. 4, in Station 82. The drive is being held in the afternoon instead of the morning. This blood drive is in honor of Addy Jo Clifton who is Alex Neighbors’ niece. She was just diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and has already had red blood cell and platelet transfusions. She has a long road ahead and will probably need additional blood support over the coming weeks. Donors have the option to “donate” your donation in her name.
