Hazel Frost Scholarship
Hazel Frost earned her degree in 1918. She continued her education and joined the OCW faculty in 1923. After 19 years on the faculty at the Oklahoma College for Women, Hazel Frost moved to Washington in 1944 and was the first national adviser for both the Future Homemakers of America and the New Homemakers of America.
Before moving to Washington she was named assistant state supervisor of home economics and state advisor of Future Homemakers of Oklahoma in 1942.
Frost was inducted into the USAO Alumni Hall of Fame in 1973. The Hazel Frost Scholarship is award on the basis of need.
