USAO Psychology Department Presents Research at New Orleans Conference

CHICKASHA – At a recent psychology conference drawing thousands worldwide, five members of the University of Science and Arts community joined the nation’s top psychology experts and students to present research. Guest speakers at the event included celebrities “Dr. Phil” McGraw, Bill Cosby and a host of renowned psychologists.

USAO Opens Spring Italy Trip to Public

CHICKASHA – While the world is busy debating over Dan Brown’s “DaVinci Code,” the University of Science and Arts is going straight to the source. In May, USAO is hosting its annual tour of Italy with an invitation that extends beyond the campus to surrounding communities.

Squad Remembers Katrina Relief One Year Later

CHICKASHA – One year after Hurricane Katrina devastated thousands of homes, a team from Chickasha is gathering again to remember the parts they played in the relief effort.

Last October, the University of Science and Arts led a group of 18 students and staff members to Biloxi, Miss. to help hurricane and flood victims, with two additional trips earlier this year. On Aug. 29, the Community Service Squad is meeting in the USAO amphitheater in Davis Hall room 224 at 6 p.m. to relive the difference they made and rally support for future assistance from the community.

Art Seniors Bare Souls in ‘Pin-Ups’ Exhibit

Three art seniors recently chose to bare it all in ‘Pin-Ups,’ an art exhibit currently on display at the University of Science and Arts. The art show features the works of Moore artists Marcie Price and Heidi Helmers, as well as Gail Grass of Chickasha.

And although they don’t appear disrobed, these décor divas use multiple media to give a peep show of what’s going on inside.
