High school students across Oklahoma recently competed in Innovations, an annual art exhibit at USAO. More than 250 students submitted original artwork for the competition. More than 40 prizes were given for the submissions, including this piece by Plainview High School (Ardmore) artist Ashley May. Her three-dimensional piece, 'Rusted Souls,' won Best of Show for the event. The exhibit remains on display in the Davis Hall Third Floor Art Gallery through March 14.
It's 'en garde' for USAO students as they gear up for a free fencing display March 11 in the Te Ata Memorial Auditorium. The community is invited to participate in the hands-on fencing and swordplay exhibition. The 7 p.m. event is free and open to the public.
