Pioneering Naval Officer Named to USAO Alumni Hall of Fame

Bradford E. Ableson will be honored as an inductee into the USAO Alumni Hall of Fall on Nov. 8. Ableson has devoted his life to service as a chaplain in the U.S. Armed Services and has influened people nationally and globally as a pioneer in the field.


Bartok Life and Music Explored in Weeklong Festival

Russian-born Israeli violinist Yuval Waldman serves as both performer and director of music for the Bartok Festival. The festival is the fourth in a five part series that explore the life and times of each composer through a liberal arts perspective, involving interactive and multimedia presentations giving insight into relevant and related topics in history, politics, science, philosophy and other disciplines.
