NSCAA honors Cooper

First year Drover Calli Cooper has been showered with conference and national awards since USAO women’s soccer team’s season ended in early November.

NSCAA honors Otieno

The men’s team leading scorer, junior David Otieno, was also named to the NSCAA Second Team All-American and the All-Southwest Region First Team.

Coach Hampton named Coach of the Year

After taking one team to the SAC Tournament and another to the National Tournament, it’s no wonder Soccer Coach Jimmy Hampton was named the NSCAA Southwest Region Coach of the Year.

USAO Kicks Off Spring Classes Jan. 8

Although the temperature doesn’t reflect it, spring is returning to the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma – spring classes that is. Classes begin Jan. 8 at Oklahoma’s public liberal arts university in Chickasha. Jan. 8 also is enrollment day at the college.

"Murphy and Koerth" Exhibit Underway at USAO

Landscape paintings and earthy sculptures fill the walls and displays of the USAO Art Gallery as the exhibit Murphy & Koerth gets underway. The exhibit features the paintings of Regina Murphy and Howard Koerth.

USAO's Dan Hanson Part of New Year's Eve Concert in Medicine Park

He puts his keyboard talents to use during the 'Rockin' New Year's Eve' concert Dec. 31 from 9 p.m.-12:30 a.m. at the Medicine Park Music Hall in Medicine Park just north of Lawton. Judy Hanson Receives Staff Achievement Award

Judy Hanson, mail clerk and custodian of Lawson Court, received the Regents Staff Achievement Award for the second quarter of 2009-10 at the University of Science and Arts.
