Regular enrollment day at the University of Science and Arts is Jan. 8. Classes also start Jan. 8 at Oklahoma’s public liberal arts university in Chickasha. USAO's Dr. Dan Hanson plays more than a dozen different musical instruments including the accordion. He puts his keyboard talents to use during the 'Rockin' New Year's Eve' concert Dec. 31 from 9 p.m.-12:30 a.m. at the Medicine Park Music Hall in Medicine Park just north of Lawton. Two alums, a faculty member, a current student and USAO President John Feaver will appear in the upcoming TV special "Building Your Future: Educational Opportunities in Oklahoma," which is scheduled to air Jan. 6 on KWTV Channel 9 at 7 p.m. Several universities are featured in this program designed to engage high school students and their parents in thinking ahead about college.
