Eugene Earsom will be honored this year as he is inducted into the USAO Alumni Hall of Fame during Alumni Homecoming at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma Nov. 5-7. CHICKASHA – USAO supporter and long-time advocate of social studies education Eugene Earsom will be one of three alums inducted into the USAO Alumni Hall of Fame during Alumni Homecoming at the University of Science and Arts Nov. 5-7.
The physical education program enriches the life of each student by providing knowledge concerning good health practices, efficient use of body mechanics to meet the demands of a lifetime, and sharpening the skills necessary for participation in lifetime activities. A student can obtain a bachelor of science degree in physical education with or without teacher education certification. A coaching emphasis is also available for students who desire to coach interscholastic sports.
The USAO mathematics program is designed to meet the needs and interests of the general student, provide the mathematics background required by students in the physical and behavioral sciences, and develop the maturity and competence required by the student preparing for a teaching and/or research career in mathematics.
With three books and hundreds of journal articles to his credit, writer Rob Vollmar joins the USAO Media and Community Relations Office this week as staff writer. Besides working with words, his favorite other pursuit is music.
