PSYC 1643 Elementary Psychology: A general survey course designed to provide the student with an understanding of the basic concepts and techniques of modern psychology as a behavioral science.Areas of study typically include language, intelligence, cognitive and physical development, motivation and learning, health psychology, social psychology, personality and the causes and treatment of mental disorders, approaches to research, sensation and perception, memory, and consciousness.
