Jami Smith brings her inspirational voice and songs to the Te Ata Memorial Auditorium on the USAO Campus on Dec. 6 at 7:30 p.m. as part of the Davis-Waldorf Performing Arts series.
After recording more than a dozen albums and receiving international acclaim, Chickasha native Jami Smith is scheduled to perform at the Te Ata Memorial Auditorium on Dec. 6 at 7:30 p.m. at the University of Science and Arts in Chickasha.
Student Activities Board (SAB) is responsible for planning, promoting, and executing activities for the USAO student body. The SAB Chair aids the SAB sub-committees that include Cultural, Dance, Lecture, Welcome Week, and Droverstock events throughout the year. SAB plans other events that in the past have included musicians, comedians, movie nights, and bowling nights.
“Oriental Shrine” won Best of Show during 2010’s Innovations art competition. The ceramics piece was the work of Sarah Fulton of Duncan High School. Registration for this year's competition is open to all Oklahoma high school junior and senior artists.
Cash prizes, public exhibition and multiple awards are up for grabs to the winners of this year’s Innovations art competition at the University of Science and Arts. Registration for high school artists is Feb. 23.
Two-year-old Audri Kate King was diagnosed with an aggressive, rare form of children’s cancer on April 15. Her family, full of USAO alumni, has set up a number of fundraisers for the young girl, including one this weekend in Chickasha.
