State Rep. Leslie Osborn is slated to deliver the commencement address to the Fall 2010 class of graduating seniors at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma on Dec. 10 at 8 p.m. in the Te Ata Memorial Auditorium.

As an agriculturist, a small business owner and a mother, State Rep. Leslie Osborn has led a life filled with challenges that she met head on and overcame. On Dec. 10, Osborn is scheduled to deliver the commencement address to the Fall 2010 class of graduating seniors at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma and impart some of the wisdom from experience that got her where she is today.

Local choirs combine to ring in holiday season

Dr. Jan Hanson, professor of music, directs the USAO Concert Choir. The Concert Choir will combine with choirs from Grand, Lincoln and Chickasha Middle Schools to present a holiday choral concert to the public on Sunday in the Te Ata Memorial Auditorium at 3 p.m.

Combined choirs from Grand and Lincoln Elementary Schools, Chickasha Middle School and the University of Science and Arts will present a holiday choral concert on Sunday at 3 p.m. The choirs will perform a variety of holiday songs including traditional carols, songs from films and musicals as well as multicultural songs.

Three goals ended the Drovers’ historical season on Wednesday night as William Jewell defeated USAO 3-1 in the NAIA Men’s Soccer Championship.
