USAO Child Development Center taking applications February 21

Enrollment for the USAO Child Development Center begins February 21 for the fall 2011 trimester. Designed for three- and four-year-olds, the acclaimed program stimulates growth in multiple areas, including social, emotional and intellectual. Snack time is just one of the many activities included each day for local children.

Beginning February 21, the University of Science and Arts will begin receiving and processing applications for fall 2011 enrollment in its acclaimed Child Development Center.

USAO announces Fall 2010 Honor Rolls

The USAO Honor Roll recognizes students whose grade point average is 3.5 or higher for 12 or more hours of class work (seven or more in the summer term). The Regents Honor Roll recognizes those who have been named to the USAO Honor Roll for three or more consecutive trimesters. The honor rolls were created to recognize and encourage academic excellence.

More than 240 students at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma achieved a grade point average of 3.5 or greater during the fall 2010 trimester and were named to the university’s honor rolls, USAO records officials have announced.

It was a year of great triumphs and budget challenges at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma as the institution was featured on national television, the men’s soccer team made it to the National Tournament and the school faced a budget reduction of more than five percent.

UPDATE: Weekend baseball, softball moved

In addition to softball schedule changes, recent snowfall has led to a postponement of USAO’s weekend baseball games. The Drovers will now take on Bethany College on Monday for a doubleheader beginning at noon.
