CHICKASHA – The Drover men found success in the conference opener against Saint Gregory's on Tuesday, finishing with a 2-0 clean sheet.

CHICKASHA – In the first 30 minutes of play Tuesday, Calli Cooper had secured a hat trick and began to lead the Drover women a great 8-0 shutout in the team’s conference opener against Saint Gregory’s.

Depression screening set for Oct. 6 at USAO

USAO hosts a depression screening from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 6 in the lobby of the USAO ballroom, located on the second floor of the Student Center. The screening is free and open to the public.

As part of a national initiative to raise awareness about depression and other mental health disorders, the University of Science and Arts is scheduled to host a depression screening from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 6.

Admission Test Requirement


The Admission Test Requirement must be met for Admission into the Teacher Education Program.  The Admission Test requirment can be met in one of the following ways:

  • Pass the Oklahoma General Education Test (OGET).


  • Pass the Pre-Professional Skills Test (PPST).


  • Obtain a 3.0 GPA in all Liberal Arts and Sciences courses (20 hours or more).

English Proficiency Requirement



The English Proficiency Requirement must be met for Admission to Teacher Education.  The English Proficiency requirement can be met in one of the following ways:

  • Candidates can complete Writing I and Writing II, or equivalent courses, with A's and/or B's.
