Drovers to think pink on Saturday

CHICKASHA – USAO’s colors may be green and gold, but on Saturday against Lubbock Christian, the Drover soccer teams will take on a whole new shade.

USAO’s Colleges Against Cancer will be teaming up with the soccer programs to bring cancer awareness during Saturday’s soccer games. Women’s game kicks off at 1 p.m., and men kick off at 3 p.m.

“This year, both the men and women are wearing Nike pink jerseys and pink shoelaces,” said Scott Parkinson, a sophomore with the men’s soccer team. “We’re doing it to raise awareness.”
