An estimated 2200 attendees from all over Oklahoma flocked to the USAO campus on April 5 for the university’s annual Spring Triad event that includes the Montmartre Chalk Art competition, Scholastic Meet and the Droverstock music festival.
With a hint of spring chill in the morning air, more than 2200 people flocked to the USAO campus for the Spring Triad on April 5. Students from 74 high schools across Oklahoma visited Chickasha.

CHICKASHA – The Drovers overcame Mid-America Christian University on Friday afternoon thanks to a strong eighth inning by the Drovers.
The Drovers were up 1-0 to the Evangels going into the eighth inning. USAO’s first run was scored in the bottom of the fifth when Konrad Mueller came home from third on a throwing error by the MACU catcher.
USAO fell behind, however, giving up two runs in the top of the eighth. They countered when first baseman Zach Gonzalez hit a two-RBI homer over the USAO scoreboard. Jared Coon scored on the play.
