In the Saddle — Mike Williamson

Date Published:

CHICKASHA – Mike Williamson led the Drovers to win the 2002 NAIA Men’s Basketball Championship, and almost a decade later, he returned to USAO to finish his degree and again help lead the team.

“Those were some of the best days of my life. I had a blast. I met a lot of good people,” he said. “Those are the days that I can remember like yesterday, and I’ll never forget. Never forget.”

Williamson, who is the Drovers’ all-time leading scorer and assists leader, has been a student assistant on the men’s basketball team since winter break of 2010.
