CHICKASHA – Richard Nixon was President of the United States. The Vietnam War was winding to a close. The Price is Right began challenging viewers name the price of regular household items. And Led Zeppelin’s “Stairway to Heaven” topped the charts.
It was 1972, and the Oklahoma College of Liberal Arts began entertaining Chickasha as college athletics found its way to the community.
We had a great time celebrating your Shining Moments at the 40th Anniversary of Drover Athletics in November! Thank you for your participation. We are so proud of the last 40 years of athletics at this fine university, as well as for those who paved the way before that. We look forward to many, many more Shining Moments in the next four year!

A new initiative allowing the public to review and comment on changes being made in teaching education programs across the state has been launched at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma.

With the recent Supreme Court decision upholding the Affordable Care Act, confusion reigns among supporters and opponents alike of the controversial measure. In hopes of balancing partisan rancor with fact, Dr. Aleisha Karjala will host a Health Care Reform forum beginning at 2:30 p.m. on July 18 in the Davis Hall Amphitheater on the campus of the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma.
