CHICKASHA – Two weeks before classes begin, USAO soccer players stepped foot on campus and have been focusing on fitness and tactical work in daily workouts to prepare for the big opening of the 2012 season.
“The kids have worked very hard for the last 10 or 12 days, and we’ll continue to work hard,” Head Coach Jimmy Hampton said. “The kids are excited to be here and they have a good attitude.”
Hampton said the Drover women looked good in preseason games, partially because the strong leaders who have emerged.

Armed with a new educational travel program and an exciting destination, Dr. Brenda Brown’s enthusiasm about next year’s trip to Costa Rica is infectious.
2012: Poolaw came out his freshman season as one of USAO’s fastest runners. He set a personal record in the final race of the season — the SAC Championship — finishing 8-kilometers in 30:10. That time puts him second in school history.
High School: Attending Anadarko High School, Poolaw was a 4A state meet qualifier.

High School: Trammell attended Pauls Valley High School before college. In high school, her team earned two regional championships in track. In addition to her team honors, she was a two-time state qualifier in cross country.
