Four outstanding performances continue the legacy of the Davis-Waldorf Performing Arts Series at the University of Science and Arts as its twelfth season opens this fall. Performers scheduled for the series include world music ensemble Sangeet Millennium (top left), the Chicago Tap Theatre company (top right), the Texas Boys Choir (bottom left) and the Ying String Quartet (bottom right). Over the past eleven years, the University of Science and Arts has played host to international superstars thanks to the Davis-Waldorf Performing Arts Series (DWPAS). Now, as the series is poised to open its twelfth season, DWPAS coordinator Dr. Ken Bohannon is as proud of the program’s past as he is enthusiastic about its future.
Textbooks from the USAO bookstore are available for rental in additional to the traditional purchase model. Improvements to the rental program include more savings versus the purchase price of the book and greater flexibility in the rental period.
While a range of improvements to grounds and dining facilities will greet students when they return Aug. 27 to the University of Science and Arts, a better textbook rental program just might prove the most popular.
