MEET OUR 2012 PANELISTS Prior to the evening lecture, a panel discussion examining social advocacy in Oklahoma will take place in the USAO Ballroom from 2-4 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.
Freshmen from the Class of 2016 exit Troutt Hall after a formal Matriculation ceremony confirming them as students of the University of Science and Arts. Maintaining the highest admission standards in the state, USAO received more national acclaim this week as the American Council of Trustees and Alumni awarded Oklahoma’s only public liberal arts university with an ‘A’ grade for the strength of its core curriculum.
Of more than 1,000 universities surveyed nationwide, only 21 scored an ‘A’ grade for the breadth of courses required for graduation – an elite list which, for the second year in a row, includes the University of Science and Arts.
Alumni gather on the steps of Troutt Hall during last year's homecoming to sing the College Hymn. The annual alumni reunion is open to all USAO/OCLA/OCW alumni. Registrations are being accepted at the USAO Alumni Development Office, (405) 574-1290 or online at usao.edu/alumni.
Alums from across the nation will meet on the campus of the University of Science and Arts for the 2012 Alumni Homecoming Nov. 1-4. The reunion is filled with special events for alumni of the Oklahoma College for Women, Oklahoma College of Liberal Arts and USAO.
