I grew up in Denver, Colorado (Go Broncos!) and am the middle of three children. My research interests include protein structure and folding as well as the reaction pathways of chlorinated organic materials during the water treatment process by chloramines. I met my wife Corrie while working on my Post-doc at Auburn University (War Eagle!) and we have a beautiful new daughter Emma. In my spare time I enjoy singing anything from Barbershop quartets to choral music and musical theater.
