Jani Houtz is the Administrative Assistant for the Division of Science and Physical Education in the mornings and the Administrative Assistant for Instructional Technology in the afternoons. She has been a member of the USAO staff since 1997.
The Division of Science and Physical Education at USAO includes the majors of biology, chemistry, computer science -- scientific track, computer science -- MIS track, mathematics, natural science, physical education and physics.
Tom Coker is a 2005 graduate of USAO who came to work at the college as a Computer Technician immediately after his graduation.
Tom is a part of the Office of Information Services and Technology at USAO. The team is responsible for administrative computer services, academic computer services, institutional research and assessment, telephone system maintenance and support and help desk support.
As Vice President for Information Services and Technology, Lynn Boyce manages everything related to information services, the campus computer network and institutional research. She joined the USAO staff in 1992 and earned positions of increasing responsibility until her current appointment in 2008. She earned a bachelor's degree from USAO and an M.B.A. from the University of Oklahoma.
She is an active volunteer for campus charities and led two different teams of students to clean up storm-ravaged areas on the Gulf Coast after Hurricane Katrina.
Ms. Boyce also serves as treasurer (through 2013) of the Oklahoma Association of Institutional Research (OKAIR).
Robert Story is a USAO alumnus holding a BA in Drama with emphases in Directing and Performance (2011). He worked at USAO as an RA at Lawson Court for two years while a student and then as a part time worker in Information Services for over a year. After a brief stint as an English language teacher in Nagoya, Japan, he returned to the USA and now works as a Computer Technician in USAO IS.
Adeel Siddiqui is a 2003 graduate of USAO who came to work at the college immediately after his graduation.
Adeel is a part of the Office of Information, Research and Network Services at USAO. The team is responsible for administrative computer services, academic computer services, institutional research, telephone system maintenance/support and general IT-related help desk support.
Adeel started out as a student technician in the IT department at USAO, and then got a full-time position as computer technician after graduating. Adeel got promoted to Network Specialist in 2005, and subsequently his title was changed to Network Administrator in 2009.
During his time as a USAO employee, Adeel has also taught two classes at USAO as an adjunct faculty member. He also periodically holds professional development sessions at USAO where he trains USAO employees to use the various elements of technology at USAO.
