David Burgess Praised by musicians and critics worldwide, Latin American guitarist David Burgess is recognized as one of today’s outstanding musicians.

The basis for the 2008 film of the same name, John Patrick Shanley’s play, Doubt, is the winner of the 2005 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and Tony Award for Best Play. The Montana Repertory Theatre will be performing Doubt in the Te Ata Memorial Auditorium on Feb. 27 at 7:30 p.m.

October 27th, 2011 will be keynote speaker Ayaan Hirsi Ali 

Ayaan Hirsi Ali was born in Mogadishu, Somalia, the daughter of a political opponent of the Somali dictatorship who grew up in exile.

The USAO Vocal Jazz Ensemble will be sharing the stage with the USAO Concert Band and Keyplayers on April 12th at 7:30 in the Te Ata Memorial Auditorium.

This team of six musicians incorporates brass and percussion to bring history alive through music. Dallas Brass has performed for high profile audiences, including two former presidents, in its 27 years together.

Tonight is the last night of the Festival of Arts and Ideas, bringing together diverse musical styles and a scholarly panel of USAO faculty: Dr. John Bruce in literature, Dr. Sean Kelley in physical education, Dr. Stephen Breerwood in art, and Dr. Dex Marble, a historian. They will discuss Creativity Across the Disciplines.
