Catelyn Perry Director of Counseling, Disability & Career Services
Catelyn Perry is the Director of Counseling, Disability and Career Services at USAO. She has been a member of the USAO staff since 2013. Catelyn also is currently serving on two University committees.
Catelyn received her Associate of Arts in Psychology from Western Oklahoma State College in Altus, OK and Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Chemical and Alcohol Dependency Treatment from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, OK. She also received her Master of Education in Community Counseling from SWOSU. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Oklahoma. Catelyn spent the first 2.5 years of her career working as a therapist at a group home for troubled teens in DHS custody. Her experience includes working with individuals with depression, anxiety, drug and alcohol related problems, severe emotional/ physical/sexual abuse, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Reactive Attachment Disorder, and mood disorders.
Catelyn is part of the Student Services department which is responsible for housing, career services, counseling services, disability services, health services, orientation, recreation, student development and security.
