Margaret Atwood is a giant of modern literature who has anticipated, explored, satirized -- and even changed -- the popularpreoccupations of our time. The Booker Prize-winning author of The Handmaid's Tale and The Blind Assassin, Atwood is the rare writer whose work is adored by the public, acclaimed by the critics, and studied on university campuses around the world. On March 31, Atwood will serve as the keynote speaker for the fifth-annual Emerson-Weir Liberal Arts symposium. The evening presentation is schedule at 7:30 p.m. in Te Ata Memorial Auditorium on the campus of the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma.
