Associate Professor of ManagementBiography
Dr. Craig Elder has been a member of the faculty at USAO since 1997. He teaches American Civilization I; Rhetoric; Freshmen Orientation; Principles of Management; Organizational Behavior; Human Resource Management; Small Business Management; Leadership in Film; Group Dynamics and Teamwork; Production Operations; Managerial Strategy; Economics in Life; Investments, Money and Banking; Social Responsibility; Principles of Marketing; Consumer Behavior; Sales Management; Advertising, and Service Marketing.
Elder also is an advisor to students with undeclared majors. He is part of the USAO Faculty Association and is a member of the Association for the Study of Higher Education, Oklahoma College Student Personnel Association and Southwest Academy of Management. He serves on various university committees that include Buildings and Grounds, Graduation, Academic Appeals, Academic Regulations, Curriculum and Campus Compact. Elder serves on the executive board of the USAO Alumni Association.
In addition to his classroom activities, Elder participates in various drama productions on campus such as Death of a Salesman and Lysistrata. He is an active part of the Service Learning program at the college.
