Judy Brawner
Coordinator Deaf Educ. Teacher Prep & Instructor in Deaf Educ.Biography
Judy Brawner has been a member of the faculty at USAO since 1979. She is the coordinator for deaf education teacher preparation and is an instructor in deaf education. She teaches Professional Trimester/Student Teaching in the Secondary School, Professional Trimester/Student Teaching in the Elementary School, Curriculum Development and Instructional Methods for the Deaf I, Language Development II, Aural/Oral Communication I, Practicum II and Foundations of Education of the Deaf I.
Brawner also serves as a deaf education major advisor.
Before coming to USAO, Brawner was a teacher of the hearing impaired at Shawnee Public Schools, a first grade teacher at Moore Public Schools and a kindergarten teacher at the Oklahoma School for the Deaf.
