Anna Lee Moore Shumate, of Pauls Valley, was born August 21, 1913, in Lindsay, Oklahoma, to Mr. and Mrs. Harry Moore. She passed away on December 30, 2012, at the age of 99 years.

Anna Lee attended Lindsay public school; Lindsay High School; and attended Oklahoma College for Women Chickasha, where she received a bachelor's degree in elementary education. She taught four years in the second grade at Jefferson Elementary in Pauls Valley. She attended the First Baptist Church of Pauls Valley, where she had also taught in the second grade class since 1946.

Funeral service for Geraldine Ann Mitchell, age 91, of Chickasha will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Rev. Don Horton will officiate. Geraldine Ann Mitchell was born the daughter of Walter Preston Brown and Golda Laura Miles Brown on Oct. 14, 1921, in Hominy. She died on Nov. 20, 2012, in Chickasha. Geraldine came to Chickasha at the age of 6 months with her parents who opened Brown Funeral Home.

WALTER DAVIDSON Davidson, Jr. Jan 24, 1942 - Nov 16, 2012 UNION CITY Walter Cleveland Davidson, Jr. was born January 24, 1942, in Lindale, Texas, to Walter and Mildred Davidson and went home to be with his heavenly Father on November 16, 2012, at the age of 70. He served in the U.S. Army 1960 - 1963 and married the love of his life, Estella Marie Tenney, on November 17, 1963, in Anadarko, Oklahoma.

Phyllis June O'Dell James, 84, passed away on October 12, 2012, in Boulder. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Jack James; her children: Lynne Stair and her husband, Bob, of Golden, Jenni James of Santa Fe, and Lisa Wells of Longmont; her brother, Denny, and his wife, LaNelle, of Madill, Oklahoma; six grandchildren: Marianne Hartner-Godown and her husband, Jeff Godown; Amanda Kelly and her husband, Nate; Zachary Wells and his wife, Aubree; Lauren, Taylor, and Nicholas Wells; and four great-grandchildren: Liam and Quinlan Kelly, and Kayla and Marisa Wells.

Mildred Conover died November 12, 2012 at 84 years of age. She was born to William and Una Conover in Ponca City, OK, April 25, 1928 and grew up in Bartlesville, OK. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Ben; a son William Bennett Watson; a daughter Gael Penoi Watson; her sisters Shirley Weiss and Mary Conover; and her brother William Conover.

Helen Constance Boggs departed this life on Oct. 19, 2012. She was born to Dotson and Ruth Harbison on Aug. 17, 1922 in Chickasha, OK. She was raised there with four sisters and while attending the Oklahoma College for Women met William 'Bill' Boggs who came to Chickasha from his home in Winner, SD, to work at an Army Air Force Pilot Training Center. They fell in love and enjoyed a marriage of 67 years. Helen was a loving wife to her husband, a loving Mother to her only child, Jim Boggs. She was preceded in death by her sisters and husband who passed ten months prior to her death.

Dorman Anderson, 86, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on October 18, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, October 22, 2012, at First Baptist Church with Rev. Rod Payne and Rev. Howard Chapman officiating. Burial will follow the service in Crestview Cemetery under the direction of Lunns Colonial Funeral Home. Dorman was born on August 18, 1926, to Joe and Mae (Leavell) Anderson in Ryan, Oklahoma, the oldest of three children. After attending and graduating from school in Terral, Oklahoma, he entered the U.S. Navy where he proudly served for two years.

Linda Sevier Feb. 18, 1945 - Oct. 24, 2012 Funeral service for Linda Sevier, 67, of Chickasha, will be held 1:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 29, 2012 at the First Baptist Church, Chickasha. Linda was born Feb. 18, 1945 in Chickasha, to Gaylord and Norma (Pruner) Knowles. She lived her entire life within the city limits of Chickasha. She graduated from Chickasha High School with honors in 1963. She attended and graduated from USAO with a double major in speech therapy and deaf education in 1966.

Linda Sue Miller, 63, of Mountain View, OK passed away on Sunday, October 14th, 2012 after an extended illness. She was born on April 27, 1949 in Carnegie, OK to Troy Bill and Opal Pauline (Flinn) Miller. She grew up in the Mountain View area and graduated from Mountain View High School in 1967. She received her bachelors degree from USAO in Chickasha, OK . She earned her master’s degree from Ohio State University. She worked towards attaining her PHD while living in San Antonio, TX. She worked at the V.A. Center in San Antonio, TX where she was a counselor.

Leon Joseph "Bo" Carter lll, 50 of Anadarko, Oklahoma passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 in Lawton, Oklahoma. He was born September 21, 1962 to Leon Joseph Carter Jr. and Frankie Ware in Lawton, Oklahoma. He was a graduate of Broxton High School with the class of 1980. He attended USAO in Chickasha where he received an Associates Degree in Art. He received his Realtor License, his CMA Degree and had worked in the Silver Crest Nursing Home in Anadarko, the nursing home at Cyril and Chickasha. He was very talented and had a great sense of humor.
