Funeral services for Eugenia Louise Henry, 42, of Chickasha, were held Monday, April 26, 2003 at the First Church of the Nazarene. Eugenia Louise Henry was born August 26, 1959, in Chickasha, the daughter of Douglas Eugene Henry and Camilia (Turnbow) Jones, and died April 20, 2003 in Oklahoma City as results of injuries she sustained in an auto accident. Eugenia lived in Chickasha all her life. She was currently working with food service at USAO cafeteria.
Dorothy ('Dody') Drake Henderson, 89, of Bartlesville, Okla., died peacefully early Wednesday morning, September 16, 2004, at Silver Lake Care Center. A memorial service is scheduled for 3:30 p.m., Monday, September 20, 2004, in the sanctuary of the First Presbyterian Church of Bartlesville. Rev. Andy Odom, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, and Rev. Bob Bogue will officiate. Private family committal rites will be held in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of the Neekamp-Luginbuel Funeral Home.
The funeral for Marian Jean Broome Harris, 86, of Enid will be 11 a.m. Dec. 18, 2004, at Central Christian Church in Enid, Okla. The Rev. John McLemore will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Brown-Cummings Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. She was born May 12, 1918, in Pawhuska to Lloyd W. and Gladys Holmes Benear Broome and died Monday, Dec. 13, 2004, at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center in Enid. As a child, she moved with her family to Oklahoma City.
Services for Geraldine Taylor Hardy, 80, of Ada, were held at 2 p.m. Dec. 17, 2004, at the Fitzhugh Baptist Church. The Rev. Steve Wilburn officiated. Burial was to follow at East Hill Cemetery in Roff. Mrs. Hardy died Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2004, at a local hospital. She was born April 6, 1924, at Hugo to J.B. and Annie Belle Mann Taylor. She graduated from Pioneer High School in 1941 and attended Oklahoma Womens College (now University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma) in Chickasha for two years. She married Ival Hardy May 26, 1966, at Wichita Falls, Texas. He died Jan. 27, 1994.
ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- A memorial service for retired educator Claribel Baird Halstead, a 1925 graduate of the Oklahoma College for Women in Chickasha, is scheduled on April 27, 2003, at the Michigan League, which is the student center for the University of Michigan.
She died April 2, 2003, in Ann Arbor, Mich. She was 99 years old.
Claribel Buford (Baird) Halstead was one of OCW's most accomplished alumni. She taught drama at OCW before and during World War II, and was named to the USAO Alumni Hall of Fame in 1973.
Services for Roger C. Guilford of Chickasha, a student life counselor, alumnus and longtime friend of the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma, are scheduled at 2 p.m. Wednesday July 30t, 2003 at the First United Methodist Church in Frederick.
Funeral for Mary Ellen Goodman, 87, Apache, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2004, at First United Methodist Church of Apache, Okla., with the Revs. Sarah Bodenstein, pastor, and Bud Jones officiating. Mrs. Goodman died Saturday, Sept. 11, 2004, in Lawton. Burial will be at the Goodman Family Cemetery, west of Apache, under direction of Crews Funeral Home. She was born March 7, 1917, in Mountain View to C.E. and Georgia Malone.

Burial will be in the El Reno Cemetery under direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.
Funeral service for Opal Mary Catherine Goodknight Garrison, age 95, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 4, 2004, in the McRay Funeral Home Chapel. Opal Garrison was born the daughter of Fred Goodknight and Ada May Johnson Goodknight on January 2, 1909, in Neodesha, Kansas. She died on December 1, 2004, in Chickasha. Opal s father, who called her O-Pal , died when she was nine years old. her mother struggled to raise three young children until she later remarried. To this union a new sister was born.
