Alyce Joyce Fite, 74, of Duncan died Sunday, June 13, 2004, in Duncan. Funeral was to be 10:30 a.m. today in Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jody Hilliard officiating. Burial was to be in Duncan City Cemetery. Alyce was born Aug. 10, 1929, in Yale to Davis and Thressa Collins Burcham. She graduated from Mangum High School in 1946 and attended Oklahoma College for Women in Chickasha. She married Wayne Allan Fite on Aug. 14, 1948, in Mangum. They lived in Altus, Mangum, Hobart, Dallas, Texas, Clinton, Amarillo, Texas, Enid and Duncan, working with AIG Insurance for 41 years.

Just days before her 100th birthday, Oklahoma's most famous Native American storyteller, known simply as "Te Ata", died Oct. 26, 1995, in Oklahoma City.

A memorial service is scheduled at 2 p.m. Saturday at Guardian West Funeral Home in Oklahoma City.

Few Oklahomans have garnered as much attention around the world as Te Ata, recognized for a lifetime of achievement by governors, presidents, kings and her alma mater, the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma.

NORMAN -- Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and kind and caring friend, Margaret Storsand Feaver passed away on May 29, 1999, at the age of 85.

She is the mother of Dr. John Feaver, vice president of academic affairs, at the University of Science and Arts in Chickasha.

Philosopher and educator J. Clayton Feaver, whose teaching career in higher education spanned 54 years, died July 14, 1995 in Norman at age 84. Feaver, an ordained minister in the Presbyterian church, was named to the prestigious rank of David Ross Boyd Professor of Philosophy during his 36 years on the faculty at the University of Oklahoma. During his last 10 years at OU, he also served as director of OU's Scholar-Leadership Enrichment Program, designed to bring together internationally known scholars with Oklahoma's best students.

Lina L. Fellers was born Oct. 15, 1912. She was the daughter of the late Herbert Lee and Ruth Emma (Harper) McVay. She died July 31, 2004 in Altus.

Judi Drummond, a former long-time member of the USAO adjunct faculty in drama, died Saturday following a sudden illness. Services are scheduled Wednesday Nov. 12th, at 10:30 a.m. at the First Christian Church of Chickasha. Interment is scheduled at the Oaklawn Cemetery in Wynnewood at 3 p.m. Wednesday.
Judith Holmes Drummond was born Sept. 3, 1949, in Wynnewood to Rex W. and Martha Jane Jackson Holmes. She died Nov. 8, 2003, and the age of 54. She was preceded in death by her father in 1987 and her mother in 2003.

Memorial service for Ben Elmer DeKinder, age 69, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, was held at 2 p.m. on Monday, February 28, 2005, in the First Presbyterian Church, in Chickasha. Rev. Barbara Hunt, pastor of the church, officiated.

Ben Elmer DeKinder was born the son of William Edward DeKinder and Bernetta Bernice Petree DeKinder on December 8, 1935, in Chickasha, Oklahoma. He died on February 24, 2005, in Chickasha of liver cancer.

Alma Lucille McGee, 93, passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2004. Alma McGee Dotson was born in Okemah, OK on February 1, 1911 to Samuel and Sarah Ellison McGee and was one of 13 children. The McGees were an Oklahoma Territory pioneer family, and Samuel was in both Oklahoma Land Rushes. Alma attended State Teachers College in Ada, taught school in Pharaoh, OK and graduated from the Oklahoma College for Women. On November 27, 1930 she married H.C. Dotson, and in 1934 they moved to El Centro, Colombia where H.C. was employed by Standard Oil of New Jersey.

Kathryn Dillard, 82, formerly of Sioux City died Saturday, June 26, 2004, at Mechanicsville Nursing and Rehab Center in Mechanicsville, Iowa.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday July 2nd at St. James United Methodist Church in Sioux City, with the Rev. Bernie Colorado officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Friday at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel, formerly Nelson-Berger Morningside Chapel.

Memorial service will be conducted by the extended family and friends of Pamela Jean Dalton, age 54, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 28, 2004, at the First Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Barbara Hunt officiating. Pamela Jean was born the daughter of Robert James Dalton and Jean Schoonover Dalton on August 29, 1949, in Sioux City, Iowa. She died on Monday, May 24, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Pamela moved to Chickasha in 1982. She worked for a short time as a nurse aide then entered school at USAO. In April of 2001, she graduated with an associate's degree.
