Students to Present Global Solutions During PEST Fair

Students at the University of Science and Arts will present their solutions to many global problems during the first-ever PEST Fair of Innovative Ideas on Aug. 4 at 4:15 p.m. in the Student Center Ballroom. The presentation is free and open to the public.

Original Songs to be Featured in Aug. 3 Recital

Unique, entertaining, inspiring and even some provocative original songs will be featured as students at the University of Science and Arts present the first-ever Songwriter's Showcase Recital Aug. 3 at 7:30 p.m. in the Davis Hall Choir room (south door of Davis Hall) on the USAO campus.

Red Cross Seeks Volunteer Disaster Responders

When disaster strikes, Oklahomans respond generously to help their friends and neighbors who are suffering. However, it is outside of disaster that much of the groundwork to responding is laid. Recruiting and training Red Cross volunteers to respond in the Chickasha area remains a focus for the American Red Cross of Central Oklahoma.

Bohannon Moving to Girl Scouts; USAO Salutes Her July 29

Community leader, arts enthusiast and USAO administrator Julie Bohannon will leave the University of Science and Arts this month to accept a new challenge in fundraising for the Girl Scout Council of Western Oklahoma.

For nine days in May 2012, the University of Science and Arts is offering a tour of Italy, sampling Venice, Florence and Rome. College faculty, staff, students and the public are invited to be a part of this tour. The tour is scheduled May 16-26, 2011.

England, Ireland and Wales
