The Horseshoe Road Band, Chickasha native Jami Smith, modern dance company Perpetual Motion and the Dallas Brass are scheduled to headline the 10th season of The Davis-Waldorf Performing Arts Series at the University of Science and Arts.
As fall temperatures made a return to the Chickasha area Wednesday, fall students at the University of Science and Arts are returning as well. Classes at USAO begin Aug. 30 with walk-through enrollment scheduled Aug. 27.
When U.S. News and World Report announces its annual college rankings Tuesday, the NBC Today Show will feature a few, hand-picked, top schools, including one in Oklahoma – the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma.

USAO English major Andrea Jones would have been to class in the spring, but the 4,500-mile commute to the University of Science and Arts campus was just a little too much. The Covington, Ohio native was in Swansea, United Kingdom as a Brad Henry International Scholar.
Now that the U.S. Census is complete, several organizations throughout Oklahoma were honored for their work to make the nationwide count a success -- including the University of Science and Arts. USAO was honored as the most active university partner in Oklahoma in a June ceremony.
