Dallas Brass

When the Dallas Brass comes to Chickasha on Feb. 28, it won’t be merely armed with a reputation for excellence and thousands of hours of performance experience. The ensemble will also have the power of over 100 Chickasha student musicians behind it.

The ballroom at the University of Science and Arts is scheduled to come alive with the sounds of Western swing as the USAO Showband hosts a fundraising dance on Saturday from 7-10 p.m. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door.

Minerva Awards

Each year, USAO spotlights student achievement with the Minerva Awards ceremony. Nominations for several awards are now open and the USAO Student Services Office needs students, faculty & staff to nominate individuals and organizations to be spotlighted during the early April celebration.

With Valentine's Day right around the corner, Dr. Ken Bohannon will be presenting a concert of love songs from down through the ages on Friday, Feb. 11 in the Alumni Chapel on the campus of the University of Science and Arts at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free and the recital is open to the public.
