Local children are invited to register for swimming lessons this summer at USAO’s indoor pool. Lessons are $45 per student, and enrollment runs May 24-25. Students can pick from four two-week programs running throughout June and July. Lessons are instructed by Dr. Nancy Osborn, associate professor of physical education, shown in back.
If children have their way at the University of Science and Arts this summer, things could go swimmingly.
Summer swim lessons for children begin June 1 in USAO’s Olympic-sized pool. Enrollment runs May 24-25 from 10 a.m.-noon in the foyer of the USAO Fieldhouse, located at 20th Street and Utah.
Available during four two-week sessions, swim classes run Monday through Friday at 10 and 11 a.m. on June 1-11, June 14-25, June 28-July 9 and July 12-23. Swim lessons are $45 per person; children must be at least 3.5 ft. in height to stand in the shallow end of the pool.
Additional information is available from Dr. Nancy Osborn, associate professor of physical education, at (405) 574-1246.
