Informational Meeting Planned June 22 For USAO Europe Tour
For 10 days in May 2011, the University of Science and Arts is offering a tour of Switzerland, Italy and France. College faculty, staff, students and the public are invited to be a part of this tour.
The tour is scheduled May 17-27, 2011. For those interested in the tour, an informational meeting is scheduled June 22 at 7 p.m. at Eduardo's South of the Border Cafe -- 1304 Highway 81 North in Chickasha. Free appetizers and soft drinks are included in the planning meeting.
Dr. Ken Bohannon, associate professor of music at USAO, is planning the tour thru EF College Study Tours. The tour includes round-trip airfare; bus transfers; hotels; dinners; an EF full-time tour director and sightseeing tours of Venice, the Vatican City, Rome, Florence, Lucerne, Monaco and Eze.
The tour also includes 10 visits to special attractions that include Doges' Palace, a glass-blowing demonstration, the Sistine Chapel, St. Peter's Basilica, the Colosseum, Pisa Baptistery and Pisa Cathedral.
