New Aerobics Course Kicks Off June 2 at USAO
CHICKASHA -- Campus and community members alike are invited to sign up for a new aerobics course offered this summer at the University of Science and Arts. Beginning June 2, the free eight-week course meets Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. in the third floor of the college's Old Gym on Grand Ave.
" We are offering students and the community an option for cardiovascular exercise to help improve health and help them reach their fitness goals," said Dr. Joy Carr, director of health services at USAO. " We are expecting to provide more courses after 5 p.m. in the fall so employees can participate as well."
The aerobics course is free and open to the public. Additional information is available from the health services department at (405) 574-1331.
The health fair is made possible by a grant from the Medical Reserve Corp.
