FREEMAN, Cora P. (Snow)

Cora Pauline Freeman was born on March 31, 1921 in Velma, Okla., to Felin S. Snow and Viola Reeves Snow.

 

She passed from this life on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 in Stillwater, Okla., having reached the age of 91 years, and four days.

 

She married Floyd H. Freeman on March 27, 1943 in El Reno, Okla., and he preceded her in death on Oct. 7, 2004. She attended Oklahoma College for Women in Chickasha, and worked as a bookkeeper for the United Community Action Program Headstart for twenty-seven years.

 

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pawnee. Pauline is survived by: Nine Children: Carol Nayery, Lake Isabella, Calif., David Wayne Freeman & his wife, Jan, Cypress, Texas, Joe Freeman & his wife, Jeanette, Hempstead, Texas, Elaine Jenkins & her husband, Gordon, Edmond, Okla., Merlena King & her husband, Charley, Pawnee, Okla., Nancy Dailey, Oklahoma City, Okla., Steve Freeman, Tulsa, Okla., James Freeman & his wife, Mary, Cypress, Texas, Paula Brown & her husband, Bob, Stillwater, Okla., Grandchildren: Rebecca Nayery, John & Dave Freeman, Rocky Freeman & Tammy Morgan, Jennifer Prall, Charlie Prall, Kimberly Loomis, Jimmy Dailey, Janna Skiniotes, Jeanine Zuercher, Nathan Freeman, Virginia Freeman, Brian Freeman, Justin Freeman, Meaghan Rodriguez, Kat Burkett, Michael Roton, and Daniel Roton, 26 Great Grandchildren, Sister: Inez Dallas, Oklahoma City, Okla. Plus a number of other relatives, and many friends.

 

Besides her husband, Floyd, she was preceded in death by her son, John Oliver Freeman, and her parents, and three brothers, Dud, Eugene and Leo Snow.

 

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 7, 2012 at the First Baptist Church, Pawnee, Oklahoma with Rev. Bob Copeland officiating. Interment will be at Highland Cemetery, Pawnee, Oklahoma, under the direction of Poteet Funeral Home, Pawnee, Oklahoma.
