Marlow: LaDonna Joyce Kimbro, 55, passed away Friday, April 13, 2012 in Oklahoma City. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at the Marlow Cemetery with Rev. Gene Jorgenson and Rev. Lawrence Gresham officiating.

Services will be under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow. LaDonna was born Tuesday, April 17, 1956 in Lindsay, OK, to Marion W. and Naomi (Inglish) Searcy.

LaDonna lived in the Bray and Marlow area all of her life. She graduated from Bray High School in 1974 and later received her bachelors degree in special education from USAO in Chickasha. LaDonna worked as a secretary at the First Baptist Church in Marlow for over 13 years.

LaDonna enjoyed crafting, reading, working puzzle books and watching 'Dancing With The Stars.' She was an avid OU football fan and loved animals.

She always wanted to take in all of the stray cats and dogs. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and Lakeside Baptist Church in Marlow.

Survivors include, husband, Rick Kimbro of the home, daughter, Marionna Eden Cook and husband Robert of Moore, two grandchildren, CeNedra Cook and Wesley Cook, both of Moore, mother, Naomi Inglish of Lawton, three brothers, Marion Searcy and wife Wanda of Noble, Danny Searcy and wife Jacky of Lone Grove, Tommy Searcy and wife Cheryl of Bray, several nieces and nephews.

LaDonna was preceded in death by her father, Marion W. Searcy and an infant daughter, Heidi Naomi Kimbro.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Searcy, Danny Searcy, Sr., Marion Searcy, Mark Kimbro, Bret Kimbro and Danny Searcy, Jr. Memorial contributions may be made to the Stephen's County Humane Society.
