MOSSHART, Mickey

Erma Maxine 'Mickey' Mosshart passed away on March 12, 2005, surrounded by her four daughters. Mickey was born in Oklahoma City, May 30, 1925, and graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1943.

She attended Oklahoma Women's College and graduated from Oklahoma A & M in 1947. Mickey was a math teacher for over 20 years in the Edmond and Moore School systems, and was always a strong supporter of education. She enjoyed reading and quilting and was an avid bridge player who cherished her time with her many friends.

Mickey was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She married Fritts Mosshart in 1953, and they devoted their lives to raising their four daughters in Chickasha, Altus, and Edmond.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Fritts, parents, Grady and Emma Allison, and sister Juanita Clarinell Miller. Mickey is survived by her daughters, Allison and husband, Greg Keel, Austin, TX; Frittsy, Chicago, IL; Mittsy, Houston, TX; Kimberly, Oakland, CA and granddaughter, Emma Mosshart-Keel. Also, Roxie and Sammy will miss he very much.

The family especially wants to give their heartfelt thanks for the loving and compassionate care Mickey received at both Edmond Medical Center and Edmond Specialty Hospital. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 16, 2005, at the First Christian Church, Edmond. In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made to Breakfast on Boulevard, First Christian Church, 201 E. 2nd St. Edmond, OK 73034.
