Jackson receives Staff Achievement award

Jessica Jackson received the Regents Staff Achievement Award for the third quarter of the 2011-12 year at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma.
Jackson, who is the sports information director at USAO, was nominated by several colleagues at the university for being a “persistent worker” who puts in “late hours to ensure that the job is done correctly.”
Another colleague referred to Jackson as a “rock solid writer and journalist who manages highly technical events with grace and determination.”
She was presented the award at the Staff Association meeting on March 7 by Monica Park, Lawson Court manager and Employee of the Year for 2010-11.
The Regents Staff Achievement Award is presented quarterly to one outstanding staff member. From these award winners, an Employee of the Year recipient is selected.
