Woidke receives Staff Achievement Award

Artist and graphic designer Shayna Woidke received the Regents Staff Achievement Award for the second quarter of the 2011-12 year at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma.
Woidke, who works as a graphic designer in the media and community relations office, was nominated by three colleagues at the university for her “attention to detail, dependability and professionalism.”
“Shayna has transformed the image of our university with her creative graphic designs. She is the best graphic designer I’ve ever had the pleasure to work with,” said one colleague.
Woidke has won numerous awards for her work for the university including Best of Show from the Oklahoma College Public Relations Association in 2010.
She was presented the award at the Staff Association meeting in December by Monica Park, Lawson Court manager and Employee of the Year for 2010-11.
The Regents Staff Achievement Award is presented quarterly to one outstanding staff member. From these award winners, an Employee of the Year recipient is selected each spring.
