Jami Smith to Perform Holiday Concert
Chickasha native Jami Smith returns to her hometown to perform her powerful lyrics and gospel music in a Christmas Concert at the college Dec. 6 at 7:30 p.m. in Te Ata Memorial Auditorium. Smith is a worship leader and songstress who has traveled the world with her music for more than 15 years.
The concert is part of The Davis-Waldorf Performing Arts Series. Next in the series is Perpetual Motion on Jan 25 at 7:30 p.m. in Te Ata Auditorium. Perpetual Motion combines the interesting angles of modern dance with aerial dance works. Modern dance comes alive with Oklahoma’s premier modern dance company.
A 2008 album release by Smith was named one of the top worship albums of 2008 by Christian Today. Smith recently released VERSE, an album that contains only lyrics taken directly from the Bible.
Tickets for the general public are $12 each with discounts available for seniors 60 and over, students and children under 18 and USAO faculty and staff.
