Joy Sharp

The beautiful green and gold, 8-foot-by-12-foot USAO flag flies over campus from the Owens Flag Plaza at the center of the campus oval.  This image was taken by educator and alumna Joy Sharp, who writes a smart blog about traveling the state: Expedition Oklahoma. Here's her post about the historic campus of USAO. Joy's images tell great stories about a lot of terrific places to visit in Oklahoma. She started the blog, she said, "because there are absolutely no resources online for teachers of Oklahoma history!"  Plus, it was a good excuse to visit state parks!
