Baer, Helen E. (Plaskett) 5-2-1918 ~ 2-18-2014 Born in San Antonio, Texas, Helen grew up in Guthrie, Oklahoma and graduated from Oklahoma College for Women. Moving to Hollywood in 1942, she worked at Vega and Lockheed defense plants during WWII. Later relocating to Garden Grove, she started a family and began teaching English and History at Walton Junior High.
Marshia Gwen (Myers) Byte Marshia Gwen (Myers) Byte, of Pocasset, OK, passed away April 3, 2014 at Integris Baptist Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City. She was born October 26, 1943 in Chickasha. Marshia was born and raised in Pocasset on the family farm where she later made her home. She graduated from Pocasset High School in 1961. In 1970 she married the love of her life Andy Byte.

Melody Elizabeth Myers March 18, 1962 - April 2, 2012 Melody was born March 18, 1962 to Hollis and Inza Myers in Sulphur, OK. She attended Cement Elementary. They moved to Verden where she played basketball and graduated in 1980. Melody enjoyed playing music and was in a band with Robert Hackworth, Gary Don Schmidt, and Richard Smart for a few years.
Irene Phelps 1910 - 2014 Funeral Services for Mrs. Irene Phelps, 104, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday April 5, 2014 at Ferguson Funeral Home with Michael Oberlender officiating. Mrs. Phelps died on March 31, 2014 at Glenhaven Retirement Village in Chickasha. Irene Phelps was born in Hobart, Oklahoma, on March 11, 1910. She was the daughter of Samuel Thomas Mask and Vessie Barnhart Mask.
July 5, 1927 - April 6, 2014 YUKON Mildred Mary "Millie" Venters, 86, was born July 5, 1927, in OKC and passed away on April 6 in Yukon, OK. Millie graduated from Capitol Hill High School and attended one year at the Oklahoma College for Women. She worked for Tinker Air Force Base, then FAA, where she worked in aircraft registration until her retirement.

Mary's father John Scudder Meeker was a Presbyterian National Missions minister who with his wife Georgia Poage Meeker and four children served churches in Utah, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Illinois, Colorado and Kansas.
Panzie Jane Blaine Biggs CYRIL, OK-Panzie Jane Blaine Biggs, 80, of Lubbock, Texas, went to join the love of her life, Richard Biggs in a heavenly reunion on March 1, 2014. Panzie was born on July 20, 1933, to James and Velma Blaine of Snyder, OK. After graduating from Oklahoma College for Women in 1953, she married Richard and began a full career of teaching school.
