ANDERSON, Naomi L.

Funeral service for Naomi Lou Anderson, age 76 of Cyril, Oklahoma, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 9, 2008, in the Cyril First Baptist Church. Rev. Charles Echols will officiate. Naomi was born on April 7, 1932. She died on September 2, 2008, in Anadarko, Oklahoma. Naomi grew up in eastern Oklahoma. In 1951, she attended Oklahoma State University where she met and married Raymond Anderson in 1952. They moved to Dumas, Texas in 1958 and in 1972 they moved to Cyril. While in Cyril, she graduated from USAO and later received her masters degree in education from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford. Naomi taught in the Anadarko Public Schools for twenty years. She was a member of the Cyril First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, and her husband. Survivors include her son, Randy Anderson of Plano, Texas, and two sisters, Betty Reynolds of Chelsea, Oklahoma, and Coralan Easley of Laporte, Texas. Interment will be in the Celestial Gardens Cemetery. Service will be under the direction of the McRays Cyril Funeral Home.
