BITSEEDY, Martin R.
Martin Ray Bitseedy, 61 years old, went to be with the Lord on January 14, 2011 at his residence in Anadarko, OK with his family by his side. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A. M., Tuesday, December 18, 2011 at the First Apache Indian Baptist Church in Fort Cobb, OK with Rev. Duke Tsoodle Jr. and Rev. Marilyn Bread, officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Lane Cemetery in Anadarko, OK. Arrangements by Smith Funeral Home in Anadarko, OK. Martin was born at Lawton Indian Hospital to Thomas Bitseedy and Alberta Botone Bitseedy, November 3, 1949. He grew up and attended school in Anadarko, OK. Graduated from Anadarko Senior High in 1968. He married Sandra Poolaw in 1968 and from that marriage had two beautiful daughters. He graduated from the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma with a Bachelors of Science degree in 1983. Prior to his retirement he was employed with the Apache Tribe of Oklahoma. Martin loved to play golf, watch all Anadarko sports, watch all of his family play sorts, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and was an Avid OU Sooners Fan. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers; Thomas Bitseedy Jr. and Daniel Bitseedy and an infant sister Marilyn Elaine Emtaddle. Martin is survived by his two daughters, Cynthia Mari Bitseedy and her children Amanda Sanders and husband Chance Sanders, Michael McCarthy and Rylan Bitseedy all of Anadarko and Taysha Delores Bitseedy and her son Thomas James Kaseca of Anadarko. One great granddaughter, who was his pride and joy whom he called "Lil Sis", Kennidi Raye Sanders. One sister, Nancy Jean Williams and husband Stratford Williams of Anadarko. Three nephews, Rob Bitseedy and wife Robin Bitseedy and their children, Jade and Gracie of Anadarko. Benjamin Williams of Phoenix, AZ and his daughter Darian of Anadarko and Elijah Williams and his children, Lenaya and Stacy of Anadarko. Two nieces, Abbie Spence and husband Josh Spence of Anadarko and Haley Williams and her children, Matthew James and Lily Jade of Anadarko. Pallbearers are Robin Bitseedy, Benjamin Williams, Elijah Williams, John Campbell, Joey Bread, Mike Kodaseet, Zach Quoetone and Dr. Lancer Stephens. Honorary Pallbearers are Earl Palmer Jr., Cruz McDaniels, Raymond Tselee and Bobby Jay.
