BLACKBURN, Gaye L. (Hill)

Graveside service for Gaye Lavenia (Hill) Blackburn, 61, of Chickasha, Oklahoma will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 26, 2011 at the Ninnekah Cemetery. Gaye Lavenia (Hill) Blackburn was born December 24, 1949 in Chickasha, Oklahoma the daughter of Leon William and Dorothea Mae (Snell) Hill. She died February 22, 2011 in Chickasha. Gaye lived in Chickasha her entire life. She graduated from Chickasha High School in 1968 and attended USAO. She and Steve Blackburn were married October 15, 1971 in Chickasha. Gaye was preceded in death by: Parents: Leon and Dorothea Hill, and an Infant brother: Ronald Hill. Survivors include: Husband: Steve Blackburn of the home, 1 daughter: Stephanie Baker and husband, Russell, 1 son: Clint Blackburn and wife, Lisa, 3 grandchildren: Shaylah Drake, Laura Baker and Caden Blackburn, 2 brothers: Jerry Hill, Bill Hill and wife, Becky. Interment will be in the Ninnekah Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. Family and friends will gather at First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, 4th and Colorado following the service.
