CHICKASHA Funeral for Esther L. Brown, 83, Chickasha, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, Cement, with the Rev. Paul Kelly officiating. Mrs. Brown died Wednesday, July 18, 2007, in Chickasha. She was born on Dec. 27, 1923, in Reisel, Texas. She graduated from public school in Cement. She married Arthur Brown in 1971 in Chickasha. She worked at the University of Science and Arts in Chickasha as a dietician and retired after 25 years. She was a member of the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, Cement. Survivors include her husband, Chickasha; two daughters: Betty Jo Jacobs, Chickasha and Jo Ann Sanders, Colorado; five sisters: Olivia McDowell and Jean Reece, both of Cement; Lorene Smith, Freda Howard and Alyce Franklin, all of Lawton and two brothers: William Craine, Duncan and Sanford Craine, Austin, Texas.
