BUNNA, Kathleen R. (Lyons)

Kathleen Renee Lyons Bunna passed away July 9, 2010. She was born January 11, 1963, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to Joseph and Linda Lyons. Kathy graduated with her Bachelor Degree in Math from the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma and then received her Master Degree in Business from Oklahoma Christian University. Kathy was a highly credentialed professional.

Some of her accomplishments included: Assistant Vice President at Vericrest Financial, Senior & Global Professional Human Resources, Past President of Oklahoma City Human Resources Society and Treasurer of OSCHRM. She was a member of the Posers Motorcycle Group.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Darlene Lyons.

She is survived by her husband, Don Bunna of Edmond; children: Beth Richmond and husband Michael of Edmond; Colt Liles and Zackery Hardeman, both of the home; stepchildren: Doug Bunna and wife Julie, Amanda Bunna and partner Lance Bowen; grandchildren: Abigail Richmond, Natalie Nelms, Braden Richmond, Baby Bump Hailey, Brooklyn and Bailey Bowen. Kathy loved being a treasured "Guppa" to her precious grandchildren. Her siblings also survive her: Robert Lyons of OKC, Sheila Wilson of Ninnekah and Lisa McKay of Owasso.

The family will receive guests at the funeral home Monday and Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 14, 2010, in the gymnasium at St. Luke's United Methodist Church, Oklahoma City. Burial will be at Memory Lane Cemetery, Anadarko, OK. Memorial gifts may be made in Kathy's honor to Special Olympics."See you when I see you H.C." Love, HSM.
