CLOUD, Peggy D.

Cloud, Peggy Dean Peggy Dean Cloud was born February 1, 1931, to Annabelle and Harold Cloud in Mangum, OK. She departed this life on March 21, 2007.

She graduated from Granite High School in 1949 and attended Oklahoma College for Women. Peggy had many trials and tribulations in her life, but overcame those and retired from the Oklahoma Department of Transportation in 1993 after a 26 year career. She lived in Highland Ridge in Edmond for 12 years, and then moved to Manor Care on Brookline in 2005. Peggy was witty and always told everyone that she was 10 days older than water and sometimes she was 10 days older than dirt. She enjoyed her birthdays, Kent Kings, her three-wheeled Cadillac walker, big band music, dancing and faithfully listened to KTOK news and weather.

Peggy was predeceased by her mother, father, step-father (Dan Christian), grandparents, two aunts, and several other relatives. Peggy is survived by cousins Nancy and John McCurdy of Edmond and their family who have assisted her for the past 14 years. Other survivors are several cousins. Visitation will be held today at Demuth Funeral Home from 9AM to 6PM. Graveside Services will be at 10AM, Friday, 3-23-07 at Rose Hill Burial Park. DEMUTH FUNERAL HOME 1145 W. Britton Rd. 843-5521.
