Memorial Services for Roger G. Greg Cox will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday February 22, 2011 in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home. ROGER GREGORY COX was born January 15, 1949 in Chickasha, OK the son of Boyd Lee and Helen Nancy (Rogers) Cox. He died February 18, 2011 at his home in Chickasha. Greg lived in Chickasha his entire life. He graduated from Chickasha High School in 1967. He attended USAO, and University of Central Oklahoma. He also attended The University of Oklahoma where he received his Masters Degree. He was a teacher for Chickasha Public Schools for 25 years, teaching Science, Social Studies and Compton Science. He served in the U.S. Army and in Vietnam. He attended First Baptist Church of Chickasha. He was also a member of the OEA and NEA. Greg was preceded in death by his father and 1 brother Phillip Boyd Cox. Greg is survived by: Mother: Helen Cox of Chickasha; 2 sisters: Elizabeth Kae Cox of Chickasha and Nancy Meador and husband David of Yukon, OK; and Several Nieces and Nephews Services are under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home."
